How to find us
Being so close to Gaborone, Mokolodi Nature Reserve is very easy to find and even accessible by saloon car, however driving in the Reserve as a Friend of Mokolodi or to the accommodation areas a 4x4 vehicle is needed.
From the Kgale Hill circle (roundabout) at the southern end of the Western Bypass, drive south from Gaborone on the main road to Lobatse (A1) for about 10 kilometres. Be careful that you don't take the turning on the right at the first junction you come to, signposted as Mokolodi 1. Continue on the Lobatse Road past that junction. The Mokolodi Nature Reserve road is a further 3 kilometres on the right and is signposted as such. Turn right. As this road goes no further than the Nature Reserve, keep going up the hill until you reach the Reserve's gates.
