Over the years, Mokolodi has had the privilege of welcoming a number of dignitaries and celebrities from around the world.

Visitors include the President of Liberia, Her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf; the British Foreign Secretary, Mr William Hague and; the current First Lady of the USA, Michelle Obama. A number of other dignitaries including; H.R.H Princess Anne, the Princess Royal; the former Presidents of the United States, George W. Bush (and the First Lady Laura Bush); Bill Clinton (and the First Lady, Hilary Clinton) have also visited Mokolodi in recent years.

Mokolodi has also received support from Alexander McCall-Smith, the author of The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency series and also from Prince William and Prince Harry, as the Patrons of the TUSK Trust.

Tusk UK is one of a number of organisations playing a vitally important role in supporting Mokolodiís education programmes. On the 15th June 2010, His Royal Highness Prince William, in his role as Patron of Tusk and accompanied by his younger brother, His Royal Highness Prince Henry (Harry) and Tusk Chief Executive, Charles Mayhew MBE, made an official visit to Mokolodi Nature Reserve to see how the support of Tusk UK is being translated and applied here.

The Royal visit placed the spotlight of the world upon Mokolodi for more than a moment, via the attention and cooperation of the international news media.
