The Mokolodi Nature Reserve is open to the public every day of the week.
Summer time: 07h00 until 18h30 (September – April)
Winter time: 07h30 until 18h00 (May – August)
Mokolodi Nature Reserve offers two different options for conferencing within the Reserve. Perched on the Mokolodi hills, and boasting spectacular views of the Nature Reserve, Mokolodi’s Worlds View Conference Centre is a popular venue for conferences, meetings, events (including workshops) and corporate get-togethers, as well as social functions. This facility has air conditioning and offers free Wi-Fi. In addition it has as a back-up generator.
For smaller groups, or for those that want a more intimate venue, the Boma offers a more secluded option. It is situated overlooking a flood plain below the Reserve’s main dam with opportunities to see more game. The venue offers outdoor bonfire facilities.
Packages are tailored to suit your needs and include refreshments and equipment, such as data projectors and P.A. systems. Full catering and bar facilities are also available. Please note that the Boma does not have Wi-Fi available.
The Lake Side
The Lake Side venue can cater for up to 100 people for braais/barbecues. The venue offers scenic views over Lake Gwithian.
Nandos Bush Braai Site
Located close to a favourite seasonal watering hole, with a maximum capacity of 250 people, this venue is ideal for corporate and social events such as brunches and braais.
Located by the entrance of the Reserve the restaurant offers a la carte menu. It is open Tuesdays to Sundays for lunch and dinner only. The Restaurant is independently managed.
Curio Shop and Tea Garden
The Curio shop offers travellers an opportunity to purchase souvenirs and also stocks small essentials that may be useful while staying in the Reserve. The Tea Garden offers light meals all day and is open 7 days a week and on public holidays.

Join us for welcome drinks at Reception and then for a one-hour game drive in one of our safari vehicles, followed by a Bush Braai consisting of a variety of meats, salads, dessert and finished off with coffee around an open fire at one of our select sites. The evening is rounded off by a slow night drive back to the front gate. For an added element of traditional Botswana fair the Ditshwene Traditional Dancers can be booked on request at an additional cost (weekends only and pending availability).Time – 17h00 (lunchtime bush braais can also be arranged on request – perfect for weekends).
Join us for a one-hour game drive followed by a champagne Bush Brunch for up to ten people, which includes champagne, soft drinks, tea, coffee, and a delicious cooked breakfast, including freshly cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, or a choice of cold meats and cheese.A special rate is available for children under 12 years old, and there is no charge for toddlers under the age of four.
Mokolodi at night is a magical world. Away from the bustling city centre and its inevitable light pollution, the night sky at Mokolodi can be seen in all its glory. Your professional guide will make frequent stops, allowing you to see the nocturnal wildlife by spotlight. A night drive may allow you to see various nocturnal animals including porcupine, wild cats, brown hyena, serval, aardvark and if very lucky, leopard are also seen on the rare occasion. Night drives also allow guests to view a variety of nocturnal birds.Minimum of two guests per game drive (single supplement option available, or sole use of ten-seater game drive vehicle can be arranged).

Please note that this is a walking activity that may cover fairly long distances over rough terrain while trying to locate the animals and as such offers a great way to view the Reserve – an experience not to be missed.Time – 07h30

Bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 people and at specific times of the day. Please contact our reservation office for more information. No children under the age of 14 and children must be accompanied by legal guardian. Mokolodi reserves the right to restrict or deny access.
The Reptile Park and Sanctuary houses animals that have been injured or abandoned and are unable to be released back into the wild. Animals that are brought to Mokolodi that are not too seriously injured are released back into the Reserve as soon as they are fit and healthy.
