Bush Braais (barbecues)
An experience not to be
missed is a two-hour game drive in a safari vehicle followed by sundowners at the dam and
then a sumptuous braai at a secret site in the bush. The meal consists of an open bar with
a fine selection of cold drinks, beers and wines and a variety of meat is available hot
off the braai, supplemented by salads and a traditional Batswana dish. Dessert and coffee
complete the meal and the evening is rounded off by a slow night drive back to the front
gate. The Ditshwene Traditional Dancers are available if requested (weekends only).

Elephant Walks Weekend visitors to Mokolodi can accompany Shaka, Thandi, Seeni and Sukiri on a walk through the bush. Contrary to popular opinion, African elephants are easier to train than their Asian cousins.
This also provides a perfect opportunity to get close to many of
the other wild animals in the Reserve. The event ends with a picnic at a scenic site.

|
Elephant Baths At weekends during the
summer months you can watch the elephants splashing around and enjoying a good scrub down
by their handlers.
