Enjoy the sights, sounds, and experiences of the Mokolodi Nature Reserve when you book to stay in any one of our five comfortable, self-catering bush chalets overlooking a waterhole in the heart of the Reserve.

Chalets include:2 x Single Room/Small Chalet (maximum 2 adults and 1 child)
3 x Double Room/Standard Family Chalet (maximum 4 adults and 4 children)

The chalets are equipped with the following: crockery, cutlery, linen and braai area with grid. In addition, the chalets have electrictiy and include items such as a kettle, electric hot water geyser, fan, gas stove and fridge. Each chalet has its own private outside seating area and fire place (firewood is available to purchase at reception).

Kindly note that all of the chalets are self-catering, and guests should please bring their own food and drinks.

Check-in time is from 12h00 until 18h00, and check-out time is 10h00.

Please note that baboons do pass through the chalet area and as such, food and drink items should be well secured (windows closed when chalets are not occupied). Please also ensure that outdoor bins are secured.

For the more adventurous traveller seeking a truly authentic bush-experience in the Reserve, we also offer five exclusive campsites (with a maximum of eight guests per campsite). Each site is located to offer privacy and has shade throughout the year.

The campsites are completely self-catering, guests must please bring their own food, drinks and camping equipment. Each campsite has its own flush toilet, “donkey boiler” heated outdoor shower, braai area with grid, dustbin and a washbasin. Firewood is available to purchase at reception.

Check-in time is from 12h00 until 18h00, and check-out time is 10h00.

Please note that baboons do pass through the campsites and as such, food and drink items should be well secured. It is advised that no food is stored within the tents.

The camp was built with funds donated by the famous author Alexander McCall Smith and resembles a traditional Tswana thatched hutted dwelling. This self-catering accommodation, located in the south of the Reserve (away from the main chalets), offers up-close game viewing and a unique, rustic African experience for visitors.

The camp offers five individual huts and bookings include all five (5) units. Please note that the camp is completely self-catering, therefore guests must please bring their own bedding, food and drinks as if one were camping. The camp has running water, flush toilets, a “donkey boiler”, heated outdoor showers and braai area with braai grid.Please note that baboons do pass through the camp and as such, food and drink items should be well secured.
